Eurowings Holidays is building the tour operator platform behind unforgettable trips – combining flight, hotel, and services into one seamless experience. Our ambition: become a Top 7 tour operator in Germany by 2029. To get there, we’re looking for a Technical Service Owner – Cloud Hosting & Security (all genders) who owns the reliable and secure operation of all components of our touristic platform – hands-on in configuration and coordination, not engineering-heavy.
What you'll do
You are the end-to-end owner for Cloud Hosting & Information Security across Eurowings Holidays’ touristic platform components – at the interface between Eurowings Holidays, Eurowings Digital, and Eurowings Aviation (EWD/EWA).
- Cloud Hosting / Service Ownership
- Own the operational performance of hosting services: availability, stability, capacity, cost transparency, SLAs/OLAs, and continuous improvement.
- Drive configuration and operational setup across hosting environments (together with internal/external partners).
- Run vendor & partner steering (hosting / managed services / tool vendors): alignment, priorities, delivery tracking, quality control.
- Ensure smooth change & release coordination across stakeholders keeping risk low and service continuity high.
- Maintain strong documentation and operational readiness (runbooks, service catalog entries, ownership clarity).
- Information Security / Security
- Act as the “security anchor” for the platform: ensure baseline controls, secure configurations, and security-by-default operations.
- Coordinate risk, compliance and audit readiness for platform components (e.g., evidence, policies, security assessments).
- Steer security topics with partners and internal stakeholders: identity & access, security monitoring, vulnerability handling, incident coordination, and remediation follow-up.
- Translate security requirements into pragmatic implementation, ensuring business goals and security needs fit together.

- Take on project or product responsibility for selected touristic components owning outcomes and stakeholder alignment.
What you'll need
- Solid experience in IT service ownership / platform operations / cloud hosting management (service thinking, reliability mindset, operational governance).
- Strong understanding of information security fundamentals (controls, risk thinking, secure configuration, incident/vulnerability coordination) and how to apply them pragmatically.
- Confidence working with external partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders (you can steer without formal authority).
- A structured, documentation-friendly approach (you create clarity where others see complexity).
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus, depending on stakeholder set-up).
- Familiarity with ITIL-like operating models, security frameworks, or regulated/audit environments.
- Experience working across company interfaces (multi-entity collaboration, shared responsibilities).
